JustCOSCosplay
"Hi there, we’re Kelsey and Jay, and together we make up JustCOSCosplay! A veteran cosplay duo who have been cosplaying since 2002 and 2007, we have a long history of community involvement - judging events such as AnimeID, MahouShoujo Day Seattle, competing, and running an intro to cosplay workshop series with our local library. From pattern drafting to making a wig from scratch, we’ve got a lot of great experience under our belt. We can't wait to bring our creativity and positivity to Ani-Medford 2025! See you there!"

MUTTRIB
Mutt Rib (They/ Them) has been sewing their own costumes and building their own toys since the age of eight. A lifelong dream was to pursue costuming, makeup, and set design, but due to funding this dream was put on the back burner. However, thanks to a friend they they met in comic book class, Mutt was then introduced to Artist Alley and the Con scene. After that, they were quick to dive in and officially start cosplaying in 2016.
With a background in stagecraft, traditional mixed-media, and a degree in Multimedia, their focuses range from fabricating costumes and props to coordinating photoshoots with FX compositing. They adore the challenges that crafting produces and aim for enjoying the process over having the finished product. Mutt has competed and judged throughout the years and although they have won various awards for prop building and overall engineering designs for character-shape and functionality, their favorite part of cosplaying is interacting with fellow cosplayers to talk shop or brainstorm techniques and use of materials!

consul of cosplay
"Hello everyone, I am your Consul of Cosplay! I have been cosplaying since 2009 and I’m excited to be at Ani-Medford! Cosplay is my favorite hobby — and I’ve gained a bit of a reputation for being up for anything: My favorite character from a show is over nine feet tall? I’ll get myself some stilts. Need a seven foot scythe that can be taken on an airplane? I’ll grab the insulation foam. You want to cosplay a super niche duo? Count me in. You're getting together a nineteen person group? Sign me up! Having attended 100+ conventions all across the country, I have hosted, judged, and competed in many competitions, as well as running many, many panels. I am always looking for new ways to incorporate my other hobbies into Cosplay — whether it be singing, dancing, juggling, spinning flags or colorguard rifles, taking photos or editing videos, or even putting my stunt performance training to use! I love crafting, building and creating costumes, and getting to “play” at being someone else for a little while."

cosplayMOTH
"Hello, I’m CosplayMoth!
I am a passionate artist and cosplay enthusiast, trying my best to bring characters to life through prop design, sewing, wig making and an abundance of creativity. What started as a love for art quickly grew into a full-on obsession with cosplay — not just for the craftsmanship, but for the confidence it gives me every time I embody a cosplay I have made from scratch.
Prop making and painting are my specialties, and with that I also pour my heart into commissions and photo shoots! I am most well known for my Arcane Jinx cosplays. Conventions are my favorite places to be: not only because I get to showcase my work, but because I get to connect with fellow creatives, meet other amazing artists turned friends, and hopefully inspire a few dreamers along the way."

CHERRY
“Heya! I’m Cherry! I’ve been cosplaying for 4 years and absolutely love bringing strong anime characters to life. They inspire me so much, and I hope they inspire others too! I’m all about budget-friendly creativity, proving you don’t need a huge budget to create something amazing. In 2023, I challenged myself to create a cosplay all by hand and that’s where my Maki cosplay comes into play! Which earned 2nd place in Meadowlark 2025’s Advanced Contest(I am still in shock!).
I’ve been sewing since I was 15, and cosplay has become more than just a hobby, it’s an incredible source of confidence, creativity, and community that’s helped me overcome challenges like depression and anxiety.
Let’s geek out and fangirl together at the con! ♡”
